With the ultimate goal of getting out the vote in this important election, Chatham Democrats gathered on August 6 at the Governors Club for an evening of great music, delicious hors d’oeuvres, wine, and desert; inspirational speakers; and the opportunity to socialize with friends and neighbors.
Hosted by CCDP Chair, Sue Blalock, and introduced by Democratic Leader of the NC House, Robert Reives, attendees heard inspiring messages delivered by Mo Green, candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction; and Congressman Jeff Jackson, US House Of Representatives, District 14, and candidate for NC Attorney General.
Following their messages, all three gentlemen answered questions from the audience on a wide range of topics, and afterwards they spoke individually with everyone who wanted a little time one-on-one with the candidates.
