Tuesday, November 5 at 6:00 pm was the date and time, and the Plant in Pittsboro was the place for Chatham Democrats to gather for an election night watch party.
Although there was much to celebrate, with Democrats winning many of the races on the ballot, there was also some disappointment, especially at the top of the ticket.
Of course no one went hungry or thirsty, thanks to food and drink provided by a visiting food truck, a local sandwich shop, and local breweries. Party leaders spoke to the group and coordinated the event with headliner, State Representative Robert Reives celebrating his victory with everyone in attendance.
